Vehicles Without Heated Steering Wheel System
1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
2. Open the driver's door.
3. Switch the ignition off.
4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
5. Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].) 6. Remove the steering switch. (See STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7. Remove the steering wheel bezel. (See STEERING WHEEL BEZEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
8. Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
9. While pressing tabs A in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the steering wheel cover in the direction of arrow (2) and detach tabs A from the steering wheel.

10. While pressing tabs B and C in the directions of arrows (3) and (4) shown in the figure, press the steering wheel cover in the direction of arrow (2) and detach tabs B and C, and pins A from the steering wheel.
11. Remove the steering wheel cover from the steering wheel while pulling pins B out.
12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
