WALK-IN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the second-row seats. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat side cover. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Place a clean cloth and insert the remover tool between the seat leather and the walk-in switch bezel as shown in the figure.

5.  Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the walk-in switch bezel tab from the walk-in switch bracket.

Note

•  After removal, if the walk-in switch bezel is damaged or deformed, replace it with a new one.

6.  Partially peel back the seat trim, remove the screws and the connector, and then remove the walk-in switch bracket.

7.  Insert the remover tool between the walk-in switch and the walk-in switch bracket as shown in the figure, detach the tab, and then press the walk-in switch outward.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
