DOOR LOCK SWITCH INSPECTION

Note

•  The driver's side door lock switch cannot be removed as a single unit because it is built into the power window main switch. If the driver's side door lock switch is replaced, replace the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Door Lock Switch Inspection (L.H.D.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

Door Lock Switch Inspection (R.H.D.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
