HORN INSPECTION

Horn LH

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the horn LH. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Apply battery positive voltage to horn LH terminal A, and connect the horn LH retaining bolt to ground as shown in the figure, and then verify that the horn LH sounds.

•  If the horn LH does not sound, replace the horn LH. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Horn RH

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the horn RH. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Apply battery positive voltage to horn RH terminal 1A, and connect the horn RH terminal 2A to ground as shown in the figure, and then verify that the horn RH sounds.

•  If the horn RH does not sound, replace the horn RH. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
