DESCRIPTION

•  i-stop indicator light (green) remains flashing during idling.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Note

•  If the brake pedal depression is insufficient, the i-stop indicator light (green) illuminates and the i-stop function operates by increasing brake pedal depression.

i-stop function operation conditions are not set

•  False detection of door open.

Diagnostic Procedure

STEP	INSPECTION	RESULTS	ACTION
1	VERIFY DTC • Retrieve the PCM, DSC HU/CM and Instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-D 2.2)].) (See DTC INSPECTION [REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM)].) (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-D 2.2)].) (See DTC TABLE [REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM)].) (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT FRONT DOOR LATCH SWITCH AND REAR DOOR LATCH SWITCH • Inspect the front door latch switch and rear door latch switch. (See FRONT DOOR LATCH SWITCH INSPECTION.) (See REAR DOOR LATCH SWITCH INSPECTION.) • Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Replace the front door latch switch and rear door latch switch. (See FRONT DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER • Inspect the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION.) • Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step . (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3		No	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the PCM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) Go to the next step.
4	Verify the test results. • If normal, return to the diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms. (See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSTIC INDEX [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) • If a malfunction remains, inspect the related Service Information and perform the repair or diagnosis. ― If the vehicle is repaired, troubleshooting is completed. ― If the vehicle is not repaired or additional diagnostic information is not available, replace the PCM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
