Description	Error signal received from instrument cluster
Detection condition	•  Rear power seat control module (LH) receives the error signals from the instrument cluster with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	•  Inhibits the rear power walk-in operation function from being driven by the walk-in switch (seat cushion-side).
Possible cause	•  Instrument cluster error signal •  Instrument cluster malfunction •  Rear power seat control module (LH) malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs •  Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) •  Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER •  Inspect the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION.) •  Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED •  Clear the DTC for the rear power seat control module (LH) using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE (LH)].) •  Retrieve the rear power seat control module (LH) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE (LH)].) •  Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the second-row seat (LH), then go to the next step. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED •  Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE (LH)].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
