Outline

• The following have been adopted to improve cooling efficiency.

― Flaps to increase cooling efficiency from medium to high speed range

― Improved shape of engine coolant passage to reduce engine coolant passage resistance

― Shroud impeller is adopted to water pump impeller to improve pump efficiency

― Water jacket spacer which increases flow speed around cylinder block liner and enhances cooling efficiency

• The cooling fan motor and the fan control module have been integrated to realize wiring harness simplification.
