THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]

Note

•  Perform the following inspection only when directed.

Resistance Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7].)

2.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7].)

3.  Disconnect the throttle body connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between throttle body terminals A and B.

•  If not as specified, replace the throttle body. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7].)
