•  Main power is switched to ACC or ON (READY on)
•  High voltage battery state of charge (SOC) has decreased
•  Heat pump control unit malfunction
•  Climate control system power supply malfunction

Yes
Turn the remote climate control off and verify the climate control timer operation.
•  Operation is verified

•  Operation is not verified
―  Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY CHARGING CONDITIONS
•  Verify that the high voltage battery state of charge (SOC).
•  Is the high voltage battery state of charge (SOC) 38% or more?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Charge the high voltage battery so that its state of charge (SOC) is 38% or more and verify the climate control timer operation.
•  Operation is verified
―  Troubleshooting completed. (Explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.)
•  Operation is not verified
―  Go to the next step.

VERIFY DOOR CONDITIONS
•  Verify the open/close condition of the driver’s door, passenger’s door, and the liftgate.
•  Are any of the driver’s side doors, passenger’s side doors, or liftgate open?
Yes
Close the open door or liftgate and verify the climate control timer operation.
•  Operation is verified
―  Troubleshooting completed. (Explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.)
•  Operation is not verified
―  Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY EV SYSTEM RELATED DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspections for the following modules.
―  PCM
―  BECM
•  Are DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY HEAT PUMP CONTROL UNIT DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the heat pump control unit using the M-MDS.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspection for dash-electrical supply unit using the M-MDS.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTION DOES NOT RECUR AFTER REPAIRS
•  Does the climate control timer operate normally?
Yes
Troubleshooting completed (explain repair contents to customer).
No
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
