EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]
id0740a1702100
Function Inspection
1. Perform the following procedure so that the ambient temperature of the evaporator temperature sensor is close to the cabin temperature.
2. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
3. Switch the main power OFF.
4. Display the dash-electrical supply unit PIDs [EVA_TMP] and [AMB_TEMP_INTERNAL]. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)
5. Compare the temperature displays of the PIDs [EVA_TMP] and [AMB_TEMP_INTERNAL].
6. Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
7. Remove the following parts.
8. Connect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
9. Perform the following procedure so that the ambient temperature of the evaporator temperature sensor is close to the cabin temperature.
10. Measure the temperature of the air intake port.
