INSPECT APPROACHING VEHICLE AUDIBLE SYSTEM DEVICE FOR MALFUNCTION
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
(See CLEARING DTC.)
• Drive the vehicle at 0—40 km/h {0—24 mph} for 3.6 s or more.
• Perform the DTC inspection for the approaching vehicle audible system device.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the approaching vehicle audible system device and perform the repair completion verification.

Go to repair completion verification.
