APPROACHING VEHICLE AUDIBLE SYSTEM (AVAS) DEVICE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts.

(1)  Front under cover No.2 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front deflector (LH) (See DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connectors.

4.  Remove the bolts.

5.  Remove the approaching vehicle audible system (AVAS) device as a single unit with the bracket.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Remove the approaching vehicle audible system (AVAS) device.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
