FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  To prevent damage, apply protective tape to the outer periphery of the front console upper panel and the back of the climate control unit.

3.  Move the front console upper panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to detach the guides and hooks from the front console.

4.  Disconnect the connectors.

5.  Remove the front console upper panel.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note

•  When replacing the front console upper panel, remove the following parts:

•  USB port/SD card slot hub (See USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

•  AC power outlet (See AC POWER OUTLET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
