LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Door lock switch (With door lock switch (liftgate)) (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fasteners.

4.  Hold each shaded area and pull the liftgate lower trim in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4), and remove it while detaching clips A and B, and the pin.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
