Note
•  When replacing the fuse block, it is necessary to switch the terminals from the fuse block prior to replacement to the fuse block that will be the replacement. When switching terminals, prepare the fuse block that will be the replacement before pulling out the terminals from the fuse block prior to replacement. This is because it is necessary to switch the terminals one at a time so that the installation positions are not mistaken.

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts.

(1)  Scuff plate (LH) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Front side trim (LH) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove all fuses.

4.  Cut the band shown in the figure.

5.  Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

6.  Detach the fuse block tab from the bracket.

7.  Place the removed fuse block in a position where the vehicle and its parts will not be damaged.

8.  Remove the cover from the fuse block.

9.  While pressing the tabs of the wiring harness clip in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tab from the fuse block.

10.  Press the wiring harness clip.
