Acceleration sensor initial position learning not completed

Detection condition
•  The adaptive LED headlights control module detects that the acceleration sensor initial position learning is not completed.
Fail-safe
•  Control of adaptive LED headlights except for highway mode is continued.
•  The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
Possible cause
•  Acceleration sensor initial position learning is not completed.
•  Adaptive LED headlights control module internal malfunction

PERFORM ACCELERATION SENSOR INITIAL POSITION LEARNING
•  Perform the headlight auto leveling system initial setting.
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the adaptive LED headlights control module.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Perform the headlight auto leveling system initial setting again and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to repair completion verification 2.
Repair completion verification 1
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the adaptive LED headlights control module.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the adaptive LED headlights control module, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2
VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
