System malfunction location

High voltage monitor: Correlation error (Battery charge control module)
Detection condition
•  The PCM detects a difference between the voltage values measured by the BECM and the battery charge control module is the specified value or more.
Precondition
•  The BECM and the battery charge control module are monitoring the voltage of the high voltage circuit.
Fail-safe
•  Refer to "DTC Table" and "Fail-safe Function Malfunction Contents Table". (See DTC TABLE [PCM (e-SKYACTIV)].)
Possible cause
•  PCM malfunction
•  Battery charge control module
•  High voltage battery malfunction
―  High voltage battery internal parts malfunction

•  If necessary measures such as wearing the correct protective gear are not taken when inspecting or removing/installing the high voltage parts, it could cause electrical shock and result in serious injury or, in the worst case, death.
•  Before inspecting or removing/installing the high voltage parts, refer to [HIGH VOLTAGE SERVICE CAUTIONS] in the general information and [High Voltage Part Inspection and Removal/Installation Notes] of the high voltage system service cautions and implement the necessary measures and preparations. VERIFY OTHER PCM DTC
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the Drive motor contorol module.
•  Is DTC U0337:00 displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY BECM DTC
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the BECM.
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [BECM (e-SKYACTIV)].)
No
Go to the next step.

DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION IS BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM.
•  Is DTC P0D3D:00 displayed as a current malfunction?
Yes
Replace the onboard charger, then go to the next step.

No
Go to repair completion verification.

VERIFY PCM DTC
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM.
•  Is DTC P0D3D:00 displayed as a current malfunction?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the repair completion verification.

No
Go to repair completion verification.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
