• The DC-DC converter detects that the voltage value input from the high voltage battery to the DC-DC converter is more than 450 V for 0.1 s.

VERIFY WHETHER MALFUNCTION IS PRESENT OR PAST
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.

• Perform the DTC inspection for the DC-DC converter.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is DTC P0E57:00 a present malfunction?

Yes
|
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the DC-DC converter, then go to the repair completion verification.

No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT FOR OTHER RELATED DTCs
• Perform the DTC inspection for the drive motor control module.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the DTC P0E56:00 displayed?

Yes
|
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
|
No
|
The vehicle is normal.
• A temporary malfunction can be considered due to a momentary shut off of the high voltage contactor while driving, such as on a road with unevenness.
Go to the next step.

• Perform the DTC inspection.

• Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes
|
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
