Charge connector does not lock

Description
•  When the normal charge connector is connected, the charge connector is not locked.
Possible cause
Note
•  The charge connector is unlocked for 30 s after the doors are unlocked.
Charge connector lock drive circuit malfunction:
•  PCM detects DTCs
―  Charge port-electrical supply unit detects malfunction in charge connector lock actuator drive circuit
•  Charge connector lock actuator malfunction
Charge connector lock setting:
•  Charge connector lock operation is set to unlock

VERIFY CHARGE CONNECTOR LOCK OPERATION SETTING
•  Refer to the owner’s manual and verify the charge connector lock operation setting status.
•  Is the charge connector lock operation set to lock?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Set the charge connector lock operation to lock and perform the repair completion verification.

VERIFY PCM DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM.
•  Are charge connector lock actuator related DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT CHARGE CONNECTOR LOCK ACTUATOR FOR MALFUNCTION
•  Inspect the applicable part.
•  Is the part normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Wear insulating gloves and repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain repair contents to customer.)
No
Refer to the CAN (controller area network) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
