Malfunction symptom	Charge connector does not unlock
Description	•  The charge connector remains locked and cannot be disconnected after normal charge has completed.
Possible cause	Charge connector unlock drive circuit malfunction: •  PCM detects DTCs ―  Charge port-electrical supply unit detects malfunction in charge connector lock actuator drive circuit •  Charge connector lock actuator malfunction Charge connector unlock setting: •  Charge connector lock operation is set to lock Power door and charge lid lock system operation malfunction: •  Body control module (BCM) detects DTCs ―  Power door lock system malfunction is detected

•  If necessary measures such as wearing the correct protective gear are not taken when inspecting or removing/installing the high voltage parts, it could cause electrical shock and result in serious injury or, in the worst case, death.

•  Before inspecting or removing/installing the high voltage parts, refer to [HIGH VOLTAGE SERVICE CAUTIONS] in the general information and [High Voltage Part Inspection and Removal/Installation Notes] of the high voltage system service cautions and implement the necessary measures and preparations. (See HIGH VOLTAGE SERVICE CAUTIONS.) (See HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM SERVICE CAUTIONS.)

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY CHARGE CONNECTOR LOCK OPERATION SETTING •  Refer to the owner’s manual and verify the charge connector lock operation setting status. •  Is the charge connector lock operation set to unlock?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Set the charge connector lock operation to unlock and perform the repair completion verification.
2	VERIFY PCM AND BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCs •  Perform the DTC inspections for the following modules. (See DTC INSPECTION.) ―  PCM ―  Body control module (BCM) •  Are charge connector lock actuator related DTCs or power door lock system DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (e-SKYACTIV)].) (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (E)].)
		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT CHARGE CONNECTOR LOCK ACTUATOR FOR MALFUNCTION •  Inspect the applicable part. (See CHARGE CONNECTOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION.) •  Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Wear insulating gloves and repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification. (See CHARGE PORT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Repair completion verification	VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED •  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. •  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?	Yes	Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain repair contents to customer.)
		No	Refer to the CAN (controller area network) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.   (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [L.H.D. (E)] .) (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [R.H.D.] .)
