BATTERY
Purpose, Function
-
• The battery stores electricity generated by the ISG. In addition, it supplies power to electronic devices if necessary.
Construction
-
• The battery is installed in the engine compartment. (vehicle left)
CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING INDICATION/CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT
Purpose, Function
• Warns the driver of a charging system malfunction.

Construction
• The charging system warning indication/charging system warning light is built into the instrument cluster. (See
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.)
Operation
• Illuminates when a malfunction occurs in the charging system and a DTC is stored in the PCM.
• A warning message in the center display is displayed when the charging system warning indication/charging system warning light is turned on. For the message content and verification method, refer to the CENTER DISPLAY in the workshop manual.
• A warning message in the active driving display is displayed when the charging system warning indication/charging system warning light is turned on. For the message content and verification method, refer to the ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY. (See
