|
• The connectivity master unit (CMU) detects an open circuit in DAB antenna feeder circuit with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT (TAU) CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Switch the ignition off.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Disconnect the tuner and amp unit (tau) connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 5.
|

INSPECT ROD ANTENNA CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Disconnect the rod antenna connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 5.
|

INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No.2
• Inspect the antenna feeder No.2.
• Is the antenna feeder No.2 normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the antenna feeder No.2, then go to Step 5.

INSPECT ROD ANTENNA
• Inspect the rod antenna.
(See ROD ANTENNA INSPECTION.)
• Is the rod antenna normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the rod antenna, then go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
• Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Connect the negative battery terminal.
• Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit (CMU) using the M-MDS.
• Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more.
• Retrieve the connectivity master unit (CMU) DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes
|
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the tuner and amp unit (TAU).
Go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
• Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes
|
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
