1. Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the retractable hardtop half-open.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3. Remove the quarter trim. (See QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Disconnect the connectors.

5. Verify that the continuity between the roof link limit switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

• If not as indicated in the table, replace the roof link limit switch. (See ROOF LINK LIMIT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
