HORN INSPECTION

Horn LO

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front under cover (See FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Seal plate (RH) (See SEAL PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Horn LO (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Connect the battery voltage to horn LO terminal A, and connect the ground to the horn LO retaining bolt.

4.  Verify that the horn LO sounds.

•  If the horn LO does not sound, replace the horn LO. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Horn HI

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Partially peel back the front mudguard No.1 (RH). (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the horn HI. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Connect the battery voltage to horn HI terminal A, and connect the ground to the horn HI retaining bolt.

5.  Verify that the horn HI sounds.

•  If the horn HI does not sound, replace the horn HI. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
