POSSIBLE CAUSE				•  Malfunction in wiring harness (CAN line) between instrument cluster and PCM •  Instrument cluster malfunction •  PCM malfunction •  The immobilizer system-related parts have not been programmed after replacing the instrument cluster.

Diagnostic Procedure

1	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Is a DTC displayed for either the instrument cluster or PCM, or both? ―  U0001:88	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the separate DTC inspection. (See DTC U0001:88, U0073:00 [MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM].)
		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER •  After replacing the instrument cluster, have the immobilizer system-related parts been programmed?	Yes	Go to Step 7.
		No	•  Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the instrument cluster. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].) •  Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Instrument cluster: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	•  Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the PCM. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].) •  Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
4	EXAMINE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PCM •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Instrument cluster: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	•  Replace the instrument cluster and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].) •  Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
5	EXAMINE PCM •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Instrument cluster: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	•  Replace the PCM and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZJ, ZY].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].) •  Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
6	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Instrument cluster: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	Inspect DTC P1260:00. (See DTC P1260:00 [ZJ, ZY].)
		No	Go to the next step.
7	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT •  Verify if other DTCs are displayed. •  Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
