DTC P2297:00

A/F sensor out of range during deceleration

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the oxygen concentration using the A/F sensor. If the sum of or difference between the measured value and the calculated is outside of the allowable range, the PCM determines that the A/F sensor is out of range during deceleration.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Engine oil deterioration (High amount of fuel mixed in engine oil)
•  Fuel injector malfunction
•  Air restriction or leakage at intake-air system
•  Leakage in fuel line (High-pressure side, Low-pressure side)
•  A/F sensor malfunction
•  Fuel injection pump learned values reset improper
•  Supply pump malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
