CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)
2. Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the clock spring connector (part wiring harness-side). (See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Inspect for resistance and continuity between clock spring connector terminals 4B and 4D (part wiring harness-side) using a tester.

6. Verify that the LED illuminates.
