SS MODE SWITCH INSPECTION [DJVA-EL]

1.  Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

(1)  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
(2)  Remove the side wall. (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Remove the front console component. (See FRONT CONSOLE COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Disconnect the selector lever component.

2.  Inspect the SS mode switch using a circuit tester.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the selector lever. (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
