Caution
•  Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.

On-Vehicle Inspection

1.  Warm up the CVT and idle the engine in the P position.

2.  Inspect the oil pressure sensor using a tester.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the oil pressure sensor. (See OIL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [DJVA-EL].)

Wiring Harness Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the dashboard under cover. (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front side garnish. (See FRONT SIDE GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the TCM connector.

5.  Inspect the wiring harness between the oil pressure sensor and the TCM using a tester.

•  If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the wiring harness.
