REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Rear Center Speaker

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the rear center speaker.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Side Speaker

Caution

•   If the procedure is performed while holding the rear side speaker cone, it could deform the cone causing a malfunction. Therefore, perform the procedure while holding any part other than the cone.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the rear side speaker.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the rear package tray. (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the trunk side upper trim. (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the C-pillar trim. (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the screws.

6.  Disconnect the connector.

7.  Remove the rear side speaker.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
