DTC P2227

BARO sensor range/performance problem

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors atmospheric pressure using the BARO sensor built into the PCM. If the atmospheric pressure detected by the BARO sensor and the difference between the intake manifold pressure and the exhaust pressure on the upstream side of the DPF meet both of the following conditions, the PCM determines that the BARO sensor has a range/performance malfunction.
―  Difference with intake manifold pressure exceeds 15 kPa {0.15 kgf/cm2, 2.2 psi}
―  Difference with exhaust pressure on upstream side of diesel particulate filter exceeds 40 kPa {0.41 kgf/cm2, 5.8 psi}
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  BARO sensor (integrated in PCM) malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
