STARTER INTERLOCK SWITCH INSPECTION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop]

1.  Verify that the starter interlock switch is installed properly.

2.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

3.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4.  Disconnect the starter interlock switch connector. (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Inspect for continuity between the starter interlock switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

•  If not as specified, replace the starter interlock switch.
