KEY INTERLOCK RESISTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the battery duct and battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[LF, L3].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Detach the bonnet release lever from the lower panel. (See BONNET LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L.H.D.].) (See BONNET LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[R.H.D.].)

4.  Remove the front scuff plate. (Driver’s side) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the front side trim. (Driver’s side) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the lower panel. (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
