DTC P0254:00

Fuel metering valve control circuit high input

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the fuel metering valve. If the voltage at PCM terminal 2AN remains high, the PCM determines that the fuel metering valve control circuit has a malfunction.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Fuel metering valve connector or terminal malfunction
•  Short to power supply in the wiring harness between fuel metering valve terminal A and PCM terminal 2AN
•  Fuel metering valve malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
