DTC P2119:00

Throttle valve actuator control throttle body range/performance problem

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM compares the actual TP with initial setting TP when the ignition is switched to off. If the TP is lower than the initial setting TP, the PCM determines that there is a throttle valve return spring malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
•  This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
•  The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
•  FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
•  The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
•  Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Throttle valve actuator malfunction
•  Throttle valve malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
