EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

3.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

4.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

5.  Remove the air cleaner and the air hose as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

6.  Disconnect the upper radiator hose (engine side).

7.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

8.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Water hose
2	EGR valve
3	Gasket

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
