POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• This does not indicate a malfunction since constant TCS or DSC control over an extended period of time is inhibited to protect the DSC solenoid valve inside the DSC HU or the engine.
|

VERIFY IF THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN UNDER SLIPPERY CONDITIONS BEFORE
• Has the vehicle ever been driven under slippery conditions (snowy road, ice-glazed road, and so forth)?

Yes
|
Clear the DTCs from the memory, then go to Step 5.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
• Clear the DTCs from the memory.
• Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 30 km/h {19 mph} or more for more than 2 minutes .
• Are the same DTCs present?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to Step 5.
|

VERIFY IF SAS CONTROL MODULE IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED
• Verify installation condition of SAS control module.
• Is the installation condition normal?
|
Yes
|
Perform DSC sensor initialization.
After initializing the DSC sensor, go to the next step.
|
No
|
Install the SAS control module correctly and perform DSC sensor initialization.
After initializing the DSC sensor, go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
• Clear the DTCs from the memory.
• Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 30 km/h {19 mph} or more for more than 2 minutes .
• Are the same DTCs present?

Yes
|
Replace DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to Step 5.
|

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT
• Are any other DTCs output?
|
Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
|
No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
|
