OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [DJVA-EL]

1.  Remove the aerodynamic under cover NO.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Drain the CVT fluid. (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) FLUID REPLACEMENT [DJVA-EL].)

3.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

4.  Disconnect the water hose from oil cooler.

5.  Remove the oil cooler.

(1)  Remove the oil cooler from the CVT.

(2)  Remove the O-ring from the oil cooler.

6.  Install the oil cooler.

(1)  Coat a new O-ring with CVT fluid, and install it to the oil cooler.

(2)  Install the oil cooler to the CVT.

Tightening torque

17—25 N·m {1.8—2.5 kgf·m, 13—18 ft·lbf}

7.  Connect the water hose to oil cooler.

8.  Add the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

9.  Adjust the CVT fluid level. (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) FLUID LEVEL ADJUSTMENT [DJVA-EL].)

10.  Install the aerodynamic under cover NO.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
