REAR CENTER SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution
•  The ELR (emergency locking retractor) has a spring that will unwind if the retractor cover is removed. The spring cannot be rewound by hand. If this occurs, the ELR will not work properly. Therefore, do not disassemble the retractor.

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(5)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(6)  Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the bolt A.

3.  Remove the bolt B.

4.  Remove the rear center seat belt and rear buckle (LH).

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note.)

1.  Remove the rear scuff plate. (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolt.

4.  Remove the rear center seat belt and rear buckle (LH) with the rear seat back. (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note.)


Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note

1.  Rotate the rear center seat belt lower anchor clockwise 180° and install it.
