•  Is sound output?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Go to the NO.2 AUDIO POWER IS NOT AVAILABLE OR SWITCHED ON OR OFF AUTOMATICALLY [ENTIRE AUDIO SYSTEM].

•  Has the panel light control switch been operated?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
The system is normal. (Explain to the customer that the illumination is turned off by the panel light control switch operation.)

•  Inspect the information display.
•  Does the LCD display properly?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the information display.

•  Press either INFO switch on the information display.
•  Does the beep sound?
Yes
With CD changer
•  Go to the next step.
With CD player
•  Replace the audio unit.
No
Replace both audio unit and information display.
(CAN communication malfunction)

•  Verify that all of the audio unit reset conditions for the customer's audio unit are met.
•  Are all of the audio unit reset conditions for the customer's audio unit met?
Yes
Perform the audio unit reset.

No
Replace the audio unit.
