WATER HEATER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR-CD 2.2].)
3. Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the water heat silencer.

5. Remove the cowl panel. (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Move the fuel filter to the place where does not obstructs. (See FUEL FILTER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
7. Remove the cooler pipe bracket and move the cooler pipe HI and LO to the place where does not obstructs. (See REFRIGERANT LINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
8. Remove the fuel pump. (See FUEL PUMP (WATER HEATER SYSTEM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER].)
9. Remove the bolts and nut.
10. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
12. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR-CD 2.2].)
13. Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [MZR-CD 2.2].) (See ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL INSPECTION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
14. Perform water heater operation check. (See WATER HEATER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER].)
Water Heater Unit Disassembly/Assembly
1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
