FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

With AFS (Adaptive front lighting system)

Warning

•  Incorrect servicing of the discharge headlights could result in electrical shock. Before servicing the discharge headlights, always refer to the discharge headlight service warnings. (See DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT SERVICE WARNINGS.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolt A and fastener shown in the figure.

4.  Disconnect the connector shown in the figure.

5.  Pull the front combination light in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the pin from the body.

6.  Remove the front combination light.

7.  Remove the bolt B and screws shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the bracket from the front combination light.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Front Combination Light Installation Note.)

10.  Adjust the headlight aiming. (See HEADLIGHT AIMING.)

Without AFS (Adaptive front lighting system)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Remove the bolt A and fastener shown in the figure.

4.  Disconnect the connector shown in the figure.

5.  Pull the front combination light in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the pin from the body.

6.  Remove the front combination light.

7.  Remove the screws shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the bracket from the front combination light.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Front Combination Light Installation Note.)

10.  Adjust the headlight aiming. (See HEADLIGHT AIMING.)

Front Combination Light Installation Note

Caution

•  When replacing the front combination light, refer to the following disassembly figure and verify that parts are assembled correctly. If a part has not been assembled correctly, it could cause problems such as water leakage or fogging in the housing.
