Note

•  If the procedure is performed while holding the tweeter cone, it could deform the cone causing a malfunction. Therefore, perform the procedure while holding any part other than the cone.

1.  Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the meter hood No.2. (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the side speaker grille. (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Verify that the resistance between the tweeter terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the tweeter.

With Bose^®

4.  Verify that the resistance between the tweeter terminals is as indicated in the table.
