INDICATOR UNIT SHORT-CORD INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Sensor cover (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Indicator unit (See INDICATOR UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Indicator unit short-cord (See INDICATOR UNIT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the indicator unit short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the indicator unit short-cord.
