•  The Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch is integrated with the cluster switch.
•  For the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch removal/installation, refer to CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Resistance Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Cluster switch (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the resistance between the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch terminals B and C is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the cluster switch.

LED Illumination Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Cluster switch (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply battery positive voltage to Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch terminal J, and connect terminal I to ground.

4.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the cluster switch.
