• Remove the car-navigation unit.

• Inspect the connection condition of the car-navigation unit connector.
• Is the car-navigation unit connector connected securely?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Connect the car-navigation unit connector securely.
|

VERIFY CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Disconnect the car-navigation unit connector.
• Inspect the car-navigation unit connector and vehicle wiring harness connector for pin disconnection or deformity.
• Are the connectors and pins normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
If there is any malfunction in the car-navigation unit side:
• Replace the car-navigation unit.
If there is any malfunction in the vehicle wiring harness side:
• Repair or replace the malfunctioning location.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS POWER SUPPLY MALFUNCTION
• Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
• Inspect the following fuses:
• Is the fuse normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the fuse with one of the specified value.
If a fuse is burnt out, inspect the vehicle wiring harness for a short circuit. Repair or replace the malfunctioning part, then replace the fuse with one of the specified value.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
• Switch the ignition to ACC.
• Measure the voltage at the following terminals:
• Is the voltage normal?

Yes
|
Replace the car-navigation unit.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the malfunctioning vehicle wiring harness.
