•  Bluetooth device other than compatible device is used
•  Bluetooth device malfunction
•  Car-navigation unit malfunction

VERIFY MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM
•  Verify if the customer's mobile phone is registered/selected from the telephone selection screen on the telephone setting screen.
•  Is the customer's mobile phone registered/selected to the car-navigation unit?
Yes
System is normal.
No
Register/select the customer's mobile phone.
Verify the malfunction symptom again, if the malfunction is not eliminated, go to the next step.
Note
•  Pairing may take several tries due to the characteristics of Bluetooth and differences in manufacturers of Bluetooth devices.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS Bluetooth DEVICE SPECIFICATION
•  Verify if the customer's Bluetooth device is a Bluetooth-enabled device from the "Available Bluetooth Devices".
•  Is the customer's Bluetooth device not a Bluetooth-enabled device?
Yes
Explain to the customer that the customer's Bluetooth device is not a Bluetooth-enabled device.
No
Go to the next step.

DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS MOBILE PHONE
•  After gaining the customer's understanding, attempt to perform pairing using another mobile phone.
•  Was pairing performed normally?
Yes
Explain to the customer that the cause is a mobile phone malfunction.
No
Replace the car-navigation unit.

•  A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Ver. 1.0 or higher
