REAR ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) 2.  Partially peel back the trunk side upper trim (RH). (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim (RH). (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole in the position shown in the figure.

6.  While pressing the cap tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, push out the rear accessory socket in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the cap tabs from the socket.

7.  Pull the rear accessory socket in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it.

8.  While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of the arrows (3) shown in the figure, push out the cap in the direction of the arrow (4) shown in the figure to detach the cap tabs from the trunk side trim.

9.  Remove the cap.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
