POSSIBLE CAUSE				•  Malfunction in wiring harness (CAN line) between keyless control module and PCM •  The immobilizer system-related parts have not been programmed after replacing the keyless control module •  Keyless control module malfunction •  PCM malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Is a DTC displayed for either the keyless control module or PCM, or both? ―  U0001:88	Yes	Perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.
		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE •  After replacing the keyless control module, have the immobilizer system-related parts been programmed?	Yes	Go to step 7.
		No	Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the keyless control module. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM].) Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Keyless control module: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the PCM. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM].) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
4	EXAMINE KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE AND PCM •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Keyless control module: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	Replace the keyless control module and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM]) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
5	EXAMINE PCM •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Keyless control module: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	Replace the PCM and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF, L5].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM].) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 7.
6	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM)].) •  Are DTCs output again? ―  Keyless control module: B10DA:51 ―  PCM:P1260:00	Yes	Inspect DTC P1260:00. (See DTC P1260:00 [L8, LF, L5].)
		No	Go to the next step.
7	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT •  Verify if other DTCs are displayed. •  Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
