• Malfunction in wiring harness (CAN line) between keyless control module and PCM
• The immobilizer system-related parts have not been programmed after replacing the keyless control module
• Keyless control module malfunction
• PCM malfunction

Go to the next step.

INSPECT KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE
• After replacing the keyless control module, have the immobilizer system-related parts been programmed?

Yes
|
Go to step 7.
|
No
|
Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the keyless control module.

Go to the next step.

VERIFY DTCs
• Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Are DTCs output again?

Yes
|
Perform programming of immobilizer system-related parts only when replacing the PCM.

Go to the next step.

Go to Step 7.

EXAMINE KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE AND PCM
• Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Are DTCs output again?

Yes
|
Replace the keyless control module and program the immobilizer system-related parts.

• Are DTCs output again?

Yes

Inspect DTC P1260:00.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Verify if other DTCs are displayed.
• Are any other DTCs output?

Yes
|
Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.

No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
