INSPECT ABS CM
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the ABS connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Connect a jumper wire (with 10 A fuse) between the ABS HU/CM terminal H and ground
Does the ABS warning light illuminate?

Yes
|
Replace the ABS CM.
(See ABS CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT ABS HU/CM TERMINAL H FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
Measure the resistance between the ABS HU/CM terminal H and the instrument cluster connector.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Replace the instrument cluster printed circuit.
|

No
|
Repair or replace the malfunctioning circuit.
